Hello everyone
my question is not exactly a technical one. I’m still quite a newbie, but I’ve read quite a lot of stuff about rigging and I believe to have a good understanding of the global concepts ...

I do not see much being said about the controller for the whole body. I mean for moving the whole body. Of course, if for example the IK handles for the feet are parented to it and moved, that will screw the entire keys ... which we don’t want

and when the control is not moved, the COG and ik handles will basically be moved away from the controller ...

is there not a better way to do this ... i mean, it seems contradictory, but is it not possible to have a controller which would follow the character, but could still be moved when it is needed ?

or is it absolutely necessary to move the COG and then the Ik handles ?
