I know the center of gravity for humans is the pelvis; however…

Where is the center of gravity located in 4-legged animals, such as dogs, horses, etc.?

I made a model of a rabbit in Maya 2010. I made his center of gravity in the pelvis-joint (as they did in Roadside Romeo). I’m curious as to where the center of gravity actually would be if you were to make a realistic skeleton of a (real) animal, like a dog or horse, or...?

Please help! Thanks in advance. :-D
