Hello!

I am taking a Rigging class in school, and seem to have changed the settings on my Move Tool, and can’t figure out how to get back to default.

The arrows are shortened,and instead of being out on stalks, they are in a little cluster near the center. When I move the selected object, it moves freely, instead of being constrained to the X, Y, and Z axis.

Does anyone know what has happened and how to return my tools to the default setting? This is also happening to the Scale Tool and the Rotate Tool.

Thanks!

Angelscrest

You can do three things to take control of your manipulators;

First, use the + and - (plus and minus) keys to quickly change the manipulator size.

Second, tweak the size/behavior or the manipulators for to WINDOW - SETTINGS/PREFERENCES - PREFERENCES - MANIPULATORS

Third, if this still doesn’t give you what you need, go to WINDOW - SETTINGS/PREFERENCES - TOOL SETTINGS and then Click “Reset Tool” or try different settings here to get what you need.

Good Luck,
~Ben
