When I paint skin weights the viewport does not update the strokes unless I switch viewport (default to viewport 2) and then switch back. Not very interactive to say the least. This used to be a periodic issue, but now is permanent.
Also, often a rigged/animated mesh will not update when you move the joints. You have to select the mesh and then it suddenly updates.
I suspect it is a graphic card issue, but not sure.
This is killing my work progress in a big way.
Maya 2011 (service pack 1), Win 7 64-bit, dual-quad core intel, 12GB RAM, ATI Firepro V5800
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
