Hello, I am using Maya on a Windows 7 64-bit, and when I want to add a skeleton to my animation things get a little weird. When I add a skeleton and bind it to the object, it works fine and I can move it anywhere and the skeleton and object stay attached, but when I close maya and open it again and try to move the object and the skeleton, the skeleton is left behind. Or the skeleton will move, but the object is left behind. However, if I rotate the skeleton, the object rotates with it. But I cannot move it anywhere because they become detached. Why is this?

Did you perhaps delete history? After you bind a skeleton, you can no longer delete all history, because the skinCluster and Tweak nodes get deleted, too.
Use Delete All By Type -> Non-deformer History instead.

did you group Mesh and Skeleton in one group and wanted to move them both?, thats not possible because you gonna run into double transformations. Group your mesh and skeleton into separate groups, and only work with the skeleton.
