Whenever I open a file it is taking quite a bit of time ( more than 30s ) and after it is opened I get a slew of this exception in my output window:

First-chance exception at 0x7551b727 in Program.exeMicrosoft C++ exceptionTDEcomputeFail at memory location 0x07656804..

This is happening after moving to Win 7 64-bit and upgrading to Maya 2011. Before the time to open a file was < 1 second. Any ideas?

Thanks

Dev enviro:
Win 7 64-bit
VS 2008
Maya 2011 SDK
Path to the Maya 32-bit bin folder in my PATH ( I’m developing a 32-bit application ).

We too are experiencing this along with a couple other TDE messages. Our load times are horrendous, we do have some custom plugins, including a hardware shader, but havent been able to find the source of this problem or another problem which is maya crashing regularly
