Question: Would you like scripts and animation rigs installed with Maya to allow you to start rigging your vehicles and characters?

Yes. It would help me get straight to animating, less time learning and figuring out problems, and getting my ideas out there.

No. I want job security by being a professional rigger and don't want it to be that easy for other people.

It takes a long time to learn how to script, and animate with just the raw tools in Maya.  Let Maya come with pre-written animation scripts/rigs that you could apply to a model, so that Maya users can start animating right out of the box.
