I wish that Autodesk MAYA programmers would PLEASE bring the MULTILISTER back !!! I have asked a million times; by phone, E-mail and carrier pigeon - AND MY PLEA JUST KEEPS GETTING I G N O R E D.
I am really sick of the DISMISSIVE way that Autodesk handles FEATURE REQUESTS.
Would it really kill ya to re-incorporate MULTILISTER back into MAYA 2012. You already have the code for it. OR, would it really kill ya to at least PUBLISH AN EXPLANATION (rather than just to ignore YOUR paying customers.)
Who pays your salary? We do !!!
I have been using this line of software for over 20 years (way back when Maya was WaveFront). And I am not a complainer, but I have had enough!

I don’t want to add too much to this.. I do see you concern..
I think I’ve seen way back in one of Maya 5.0 scripts a mention that Multilister was going to be removed. I guess it finally happend… I did like ML myself but I honestly don’t miss it that much anymore.. What I would like them to do is improve Hypershade.. and give us more of information on the nodes instead of just thumbnails and two arrows.

Yet another example of how disconnected autode$k has become from it’s customers. I can’t stand maya these days - so full of bugs.

I liked the Multilister as well, its faster than the Hypershade, I can edit a material without losing my selection on an object or component, I could expand a material without having to take it to the work area, I had more options on the right click and it generally sped up my workflow. It seems counterproductive to put a slower clumsier tool in to replace the Multilister. So I would like it back also.
