Why Maya 2012.5 haven’t iRay yet?

Just guessing: maybe they want to position Max as a visualization tool and Maya as an animation tool. For animation, iRay doesn’t make much sense, does it?

Don’t know because more and more 3D modelers done unbiased turntable and now you can create outstanding renders for animations.

what about xgen, Ptex.... for maya not for max ? I’d like reverse !
