I am using video reference cut up in story mode (to match motion edits) for facial reference. When I reopen a scene there will be multiple copies of the video overlaying each other in story mode. If I delete these I lose everything. Story mode doesn’t let you overlay video files, so why does it decide to do it itself?

LOTS OF WORK LOST. This is only the beginning of issues with 2011…

Running Subscription (Dis)Advantage pack

Hi,

Could you send us a scene or reproduction steps in order to reproduce the problem.  I tried on my side but I cannot get the video files on top of each other.

Thanks

I got a bunch of useless workarounds from support. Seems like a scam. Release a product that doesn’t work, then force the customer to PAY for support. Can’t believe the number of issues in 2011. What can we do though. They have basically monopolised the entire CG software pipeline.

I’m avoiding story completely until they release a patch… seriously positing going back to 2009.

Hi Lee, thanks for the updates they are precious.

but, i like to ask one think, because i dont really understand this.

1. Autodesk launch Motionbuilder 2011

2. Autodesk launch Motionbuilder 2011 Advantage Pack - wich is better/recent then Motionbuilder 2011? right?

3 . Autodesk launch a update to Motionbuilder 2011 - wich you talk in the last post ( i installed and only updates Motionbuilder 2011, dont have a option to select other versions).

So don’t exist a update for Motionbuilder 2011 Advantage Pack ? Only a update for a previous version?

Best regards

Hi jmccd,

Service Pack 1 is available for both the standard release of MotionBuilder 2011 and the MotionBuilder 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack release.
The same fixes are included in both Service Packs.

You will need to login to Subscription Centre to download Service Pack 1 for the MotionBuilder 2011 Subscription Advantage Pack.

Best Regards,

Lee
