I have some questions I’d like people at industry would answer me:

1) Is is possible motion builder gets a face mocap data and outputs as a morph sequence that will be used in maya, max or others without need to animate the morphs manually?

if yes, please also answer:

a) Does it creates a list of morphs based on the mocap data alone or does it compares the mocap with an object that already have the morphs to get proximity?

b) if there no morph that match the proximity with the deformed data from mocap, how will Motion Builder transfer the mocap data to a morph sequence?

c) If it creates the list of morphs alone how will it filter the morphs per interest area? I mean mouth, eyes, nose…

d) Will the animated morph sequence be exported in the FBX, Collada or Alembic file?

Understand that what I want is a way to convert face mocap animation to morph target sequence animation in an automated way. So it will be easier to edit or adjust the animation latter. I’ve read this technique have been used in GOLUM and also in AVATAR.
