1.
How do you attach a motion builder rigged skeleton to a pre-existing skeleton in Maya that has some locks and restraints using HumanIK?

2.
This is what I’ve done:
I took a human skeleton from maya, brought it into motion builder, applied tracking clouds to it, and brought it back into Maya.

But I am unable to export a animated skeleton in motion builder back into maya with all the keyframed animations? I am getting no animation?? HELP!

Bringing in a motion builder skeleton to Maya with animations works fine. I just can’t bring in an existing skeleton from Maya to moiton builder back to Maya.

use the fbx plugin import options, and update scene elements.

The FBX import is name based, make sure there are not NameSpaces on the Maya joints vs. the MotionBuilder or vice versa.  Make sure names on both skeletons are still the same and it should load the animation just fine.

And yes, use update scene elements, only instead of add and update.
