i just bought a JLCooper MCS-3800 with the intention of getting it to run in motionbuilder as it is supposed to have native support. It doesnt initialise at all. It will get data from the midi device but not the office JLCooper device.

Ive tried everything,

connecting via the supported midi i/o on my terratec breakout box
Via USB
via Serial
Windows 7
windows XP
Motionbuilder 2012
Motionbuilder 7.5 Ext 1

So i thought maybe there would be documentation, but there is nothing!

i did a little digging, and i see that brad clark has kinda written his own plugin:
http://svn2.assembla.com/svn/Ani...include/fbsdk/fbconsole.h

I have no idea how to get this script to run, to be fair im clutching at straws,....

can anyone please help me! i just want the JL Cooper to work. What are the exact steps i need to take to get motionbuilder to initialise this device properly.

Im using firmware 1.43, i have the 1.27 chip - i even tried swapping that back in to see if the very first edition would be more midi friendly. alas..nothing.
