Ello again,

I thought I’d better post a new topic for this one! Is there a way of adding your own buttons and layouts to the existing tools in MotionBuilder?

For example, adding a custom FBButton() into MotionBuilder’s ‘Story’ tab? I’ve scoured high and low but can’t find any documentation on it.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks :)

Fairly certain this is impossible. In 2011 you can add menus on the title bar. But that’s as far as it goes. I haven’t had enough time to look at 2012, but I don’t think this was added. (Someone please correct me if I’m wrong...)

I thought as much. The custom layouts are great but it would be nice to have the ability to integrate them into MotionBuilder’s UI - save having 50 floating layouts.

Thanks for the response :)
