I have a model with UVs imported from Maya, and done a texture bake from lvl 0 to lvl 6 (my highest) and its worked great.

If I want to test another bake from lvl 1 instead, it says that the ‘texture coordinates are invalid’ etc when I go to start the baking. Does Mudbox retain the UVs of the orginal mesh as you step and and down the levels, ?

I dunno if theres maybe an option I’m missing to make sure if I bake from a different level then 0 then it still finds the UVs ?

My workaround is (as discussed before by others) to export my lvl 1 into Maya, UV it, and then re-import back in to a fresh scene and bake etc, this way is great but was just wondering if theres something obvious I need to be switching on

Thanks

Gunslinger - Did you try “recreate level UV’s” under the mesh menu ? That might do it.
