billboard - sorting issue

Hi,

I’m creating a tree, and I want to render using mudbox turntable. I am having sorting issue with some (not all) of the leaves. The trunk and some of the branches were created using Mudbox, but I used Maya to create leafs on a billboard. The billboard is a square geo with leaves transparency texture. Not all the billboards have sorting issues. So far, I separated some of the geo into four parts with its own material and I made sure all my uv don’t go out of bound, but still doesn’t sort properly. Any suggestions?
