Hello everybody,
I’m new to mudbox and tring to solve the following problem:
I want to make a terrain based in a DEM (digital elevation map) of my hometown that i found in the net. The plan was to take a plane and use the DEM map as a displacement map and add more detail at mudbox and later on worldmachine. I got the map working ok, but with the displacement map applied I’m not able to use stamps. De brush sculps, but the stamp is not applied. Any work around?
I’m really anxious to be able to play some deathmatchs in the jungles and hills of the my town! lol

[edit] I tought it could be scale problems but I already checked it out.

Sorry, problem solved. It was the resolution of the displacement was too low (320x320). They were good to make the general terrain, but it apears that the stamp is writen in the same displecement map that the one I started with. Now the detales apear at the displacement map of 2048x2048, they get small compared to the model. I will try an even higher res, though.
