Hi,
When I import a file from 3DS Max into Mudbox I can only see half the shape. I did cut the original shape in half then tried to mirror it. However Mudbox still sees the object name when i click the area where it is, yet you can only see the plane behind/ underneath it.
Any help?
Thanks

mudbox can only view faces that are in the right direction… flipp the faces in max and do a resetXform…

Use the Symmetry modifier instead of mirroring half an object in Max, that keeps all the polys normals facing the right way. And it deals with keeping the two halves welded together for you. Altogether it helps prevent this sort of issue.
