Hi there,

is there any Video Tutorial that shows how to modify a generic head and sculpt it so it looks like a specific human head ?

As instance, ..... I would like to use a generic head and change the face so it looks like a famous actor.

Would be great if there is any video tutorial I can buy or even get for free.

Thank you for any little help !

Well it’s not a tutorial but I do have a timelapse video of me taking a generic head base mesh and sculpting it to look like reference images of a real person. I left the interface on so you should be able to see what tools I use. It is recorded fast though, so you might have to pause and wind it back.

One thing I didn’t do in the video was go over setting up the reference sheet background. I took a load of reference images from different directions (it’s from http://www.3d.sk), pasted them all onto one big image in Photoshop and added that as a camera background image. That way I can see the reference past my sculpture, whichever direction it’s in. Having these images on a second monitor in an image browser would work just as well but you couldn’t see that in the video.

As I say it’s not a tutorial, but it might help.
