Hello

I’m having problems with my Intuos 4 tablet on Vista 64 + Nvidia 9800GT using the demo of Mudbox 2009 SP2

Sometimes the pen pointer gets stuck inside the main sculpting window and my custom keymaps associated with the pen stop working i.e. pressing alt and the pen right mouse button should dolly the 3d view but a drop down menu pops up instead. Freeing the pointer involves bringing up the task manager.

All the software is up to date and the latest service packs are installed

If I uninstall the wacom software the pen navigation works much better - but I lose all the nice features of the Intuos 4

Same tablet works fine on my Laptop running Vista 32 Bit

any ideas?

thanks in advance

Was having the same problem with Maya

I think the problem is graphics card related. I fixed Maya with the following
added MAYA_GEFORCE_SKIP_OVERLAY=1 in the maya.env

wonder how I can do this with Mudbox? Nvidia control panel?

it’s broken again - don’t know why it started working?

Working now think it might have been conflicting with a program I had installed to remap my mouse buttons (X-Mouse Button)

I had a fancy mouse installed with loads of buttons that I wanted to customize using The ‘x mouse button’ program I had installed.

Removing the custom mouse button program fixed the conflict with Maya/Mudbox
