Last night, I was working on a full bodied character. I hid everything below the bust and removed hidden, (moved it to disk, I thought,) in order to subdivide and detail the head.
After working for a couple of hours, I saved, then quit the app, without restoring the removed geo. Tonight, I reload the file and attempt to unremove the body geometry… except it’s now gone!!!
Did I lose it, or am I overlooking something obvious? Is the standard operating procedure to unremove before saving and quitting from Mudbox?
Help!

Sure enough, immediately after posting, I figure the issue out. I removed geo at level 5, then subdivided to level 6 and sculpted. I had to drop back to level 5 to unremove the missing geo.
Ultimately, it looks like I have lost my level 6 edits that were of too fine a detail to propegate back down to level 5, but that’s Ok. I was primarily concerned with the gross form edits of level 6 in the end anyway; I’ll be redoing the detail later.
Question:
Let’s say I’m working on my home computer and I remove hidden geometry. I save the file and move it to a flash drive.
Then I take that file to my job the next day and load it up on my work version of Mudbox. Will I be able to unremove the geo there? If not, and I edit what is there, when I bring the file back home later that evening, will I be able to unremove in that case?
Thanks
