Hello,

Mudbox opens, but crashes when I “create mesh” -> “sphere” I recently upgraded my graphics card to an Nvidia Ge Force 8800 GTS. So far all other applications are running well.

Thanks,

Alex

do you have the latest drivers?

Thanks for your reply. I installed the drivers from the disc that came with the card. I am downloading the most recent drivers form Nvidia now. I’ll see if that helps.

Hey there,

I’ve downloaded the latest graphics card drivers and nothing has changed. Still crashing on creating a sphere or opening an obj and subdividing.

I am having the exact same problem.

I’m using the same graphics card but I’ve been running Mudbox trial without any problems at all. Ever since I’ve activated the trial, Mudbox crashes immediately when creating primitives, opening files, etc.
I installed all the latest versions of drivers and every other software runs smoothly…

very disappointing ):

Could it have anything to do with 64bit?

Try closing Mudbox and then go to the C: Documents and SettingsUserMy DocumentsMudbox dir and delete the Mudbox 1.0 directory there along with the setting directory inside. Mudbox will create a new settings directory once you restart the application.

thanks all

Alex
