It was the same for Mudbox 2009 but I was sure this version - Mudbox 2011 would have this sorted. Saving a layout - or even multiple layouts is something pretty basic these days.

As soon as you close the program, Mudbox forgets everything, windows positions, new toolbars, or if you close unneeded tabs.

Maybe the more experienced artists working with Mudbox know some workarounds ?

Hi,

I am also interested in this topic.  There doesn’t seem to be any way to customize the user interface and make it stick.  Also, I have tried looking online for custom trays, dockable trays, etc.  Nothing out there.  Even though you can drag/drop tabs you are always left with empty bins and no way to remove them.  Camera bookmarks don’t reappear.  About the only thing I am able to customize is 1 Tool bin and that is very limited.  Any insight would be appreciated.
