Has anyone else had this experience, this is totally frustrating, just happened on MB 2009 yesterday:

1 - I opened hotkeys window, didn’t change anything, just looked at it.

2 - Closed the window, again nothing touched or changed.

3 - After closing the window, the mouse scroll wheel no longer zooms the 3d viewport in and out.

The MMB functions fine, and in fact I can still zoom with the options from the hotkeys, but the wheel zoom is gone! Ok, is it me or anyone else have this issue?

I uninstalled Mudbox 2009, reinstalled it and it seems the probelm is in the MyDocuments Mudbox/2009/ data & settings folders. I tried to edit the files directly but cant find anything related to mouse wheel scroll.

The workaround I am using is to erase the MyDocuments Mudbox folders altogether and uninstall / reinstall MB2009. But if I open the hotkeys window, bazzoom! Scroll stops working again… which just happened so now I am going to do the whole uninstall again.

SO now I cant use the Hotkeys window… SOLUTIONS PLEASE, ANY MUDBOX DEVELOPERS???

I have a tablet but I find my best artwork comes from patient mouse manipulation.

Did you have an answer or were you just blowing off some wind?

I thought it was just me too :)
Here’s what I’m currently doing:

- Go to the data folder \Mudbox\2009-x64\settings\hotkeys.txt
- Open up hotkeys.txt and it’s the bottom entry you’re interested in, change it to “Zoom 3: 2048”. Hit save.
- Restart Mudbox (you might want to create a shortcut to hotkeys.txt on the desktop)

Hopefully it’ll get fixed in the next release!
