Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has had some success creating normal maps and/or displacement maps using the ptex format.  I’ve been able to generate colour maps without any issues.  But, I’ve noticed quite a few artifacts in my normal/displacements (when using ptex).  Does anyone have any tips or suggestions.

Thanks.

Kris.

artefacts in dispmaps are mostly caused by a to low geomentry…
your geo have to be really close in tricky areas…
