| Transforms vanish from properties panel?
|
|
|
Not sure how I did it, but I have lost the transform properties access from the properties tab. How do I get it back, or better yet, is there a feature similar to 3dsmax’s Transform Type in Floating Dialog?
Thanks!!!

Hmmm… closing the app and the reopening seemed to cure it for now. Any other suggestions for the next time this occurs?

I’m experiencing the same thing Alan. The thing is, when I try to duplicate the steps so I can report it to Skymatter, it seems to work fine. It usually happens after I select some polys or entire object and deselect it. When I go back to Translate/Rotate, nothing shows up except poly count, etc. Yes, you can float it, but it doesn’t update the info and it disappears behind Mudbox’s application screen. Restarting Mudbox usually solves those UI funkiness. Perhaps I’m not using it correctly.
Hey, you haven’t come around the Max forum. You are missed there. :)

You just have to select the rotate tool and then select the translate tool again, rather than restarting the app, but it is a bug.

Thanks oddity. It seems to work fine doing what you suggested. I still can’t get floating property windows to show up without alt+tabbing. Any suggestion? Also, there seems to be no hotkey for selecting “Translate” tool. I know you can use X+MMB to activate Translate on the fly, but if I want to display the object coordinates, I have to select the Translate tool. It seems that there is no hotkey that I can assign it to.
Thanks.
