Hi! I’ve been using Mudbox for a while now but this is the first time I’ve had to extract a displacement map to go into Maya.

So I followed a tutorial on how to extract it and set it up on Maya and well.... the result does not look good to say the least...the displacement map kinda just makes my character look really fat and I honestly have no idea how to fix it.

Looking at my actual displacement map, I don’t know if it’s right or not, like you can’t see much of the detail in the folds and such, most of it is just grey… I don’t know if I did something wrong on the extraction or if it’s meant to look like this so here is a pic of my sculpt....http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/sculptk.jpg/
and here is a pic of my displacement map...http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/155/displacementg4380000.jpg/
Does that look right to you?

Little info on my sculpt/extraction...it’s got 4 subdivision levels, I extracted with a target level 0 and source level 2 (along with a normal map level 2 - 4) locate method: raycasting, choose samples: furthest outside, antialiasing: off

So yeah any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance! :)
