get a 64bit system is the best way…
mud without 8gig ram is like a ferrari with only one gear… ;)

the 3g switch sometime causes bad problems with the graphic card driver…
in my case the graphic driver wont start at all…

hi robin,
you can edit the boot ini file by adding /3GB at the end of the line and saving that file then restarting the system but do this at your own risk, it worked on my machine but i did it to a friend of mine and his PC kept restarting when trying to load the graphics driver in booting time so be careful and make sure you can revers this in case it went wrong!

you can get to the INI file by going to control panel then double click the system icon and then go to advanced tab and click settings under startup & recovery section then you will find an edit button that will open the INI file for you to edit.
this is how you would do it in XP not sure if vista control panel is exactly the same.
good luck.

If you have a license for Windows Vista you can use 32-bit or 64-bit like you want.
There is only a difference in media included in Vista-packages.
See bottom at this page page.

Maybe i should post a new topic with this, cause most people don’t know.
