Having a bit of trouble with a human head that i am making , I modeled it in Maya then took it into Mudbox.
When i tried to bake the texture it was giving me the error “map extraction failed” i then realized that my uv’s in Maya
were off the resolution box in the texture editor, and i think this is why i am getting the error. (i have tried with them
in the correct place and it seems to work)
Is there any whey that I can transfer my layers(in mudbox) on to the head with the correct uv’s or anything else i can do to fix this problem.
As i have spent quite alot of time on the face that is not working , and dont want to lose the work.
