Hello guys i am new to this forums, but old using 3ds max. ive been trying to export vector displacements maps from mudbox, using the world and local settings, the map render is either cranked up in intensity or very dark (super low intensity), my question: is there a way to regulate this? i tried with the scale of the model, but it didnt work.
Thanks in advanced.

How are you using these maps inside 3dsmax? Using the disp modifier? Using Wayne’s Vector disp map mentalray test shader?

Afraid I don’t use finalrender, and so don’t know how that shader works. Hopefully someone else can help.
