Wayne has uploaded some excellent training I’ve watched some it’s good stuff.  I have a question, I couldn’t break down myself.  In one of the Master class training Wayne describes a normal map technique.  I don’t know if there is more then just one, the only normal map technique I was able to extract was taking a normal map in photoshop and blending it with a AO map if I stand corrected, was there another one :) ?

Wayne also talks about if you create a 2K map your sculpt should not be above 2 million polygons yet he describes 4 million polygons for a 4 million polygons sculpt ? A 4K map you should only sculpt at 4 million polygons, anything above 8 million polygons you should use multiple displacements.  Softimage is a pain to join multiple UV maps together. I hope someone can clear this up for me ?
