IS there any way in Mudbox 2011 to change the default Y-Axis up to Z-Up?  At work we have to use Z-Up and it’s a pain to have to rotate a model every time you go in and out of Mudbox.

Thanks!

You should be able to flip the axis at export time from your 3d app. What app and format are you using? I know there’s an option to do this in Max with fbx files and obj files do it automatically. I don’t know how you do it with other apps, but there should be an option there somewhere.

Ya, no zup support directly in mudbox, but fbx will let you bring your object back and forth pretty painlessly without the need to rotate it or anything.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys.  I’m importing/exporting OBJs, since that is what my software requires, so I can’t use FBX.  I’d love to see this option available in the service packs.  It would speed me up a ton.
