Something I’m working on in the little spare time I have.
Base mesh built in Max and sculpted up in Mud.
Described variously as “...an octopus, a dragon, and a human caricature.... A pulpy, tentacled head surmounted a grotesque scaly body with rudimentary wings”
I added the Triceratops mantle to add a bit of prehistoric majesty.

Hopefully I’ll get time to finish him/it

this s such a gorgeous model ,
such a shame that nobody feel the need to reply , give a critique or a pat on the back ...
this place can be very sad sometime .. almost as if nobody visit it :-(

i really like the fact that you did not go with a super beefy musculature and i am really looking forward for the first posing and texturing test .

did i mention a lot of kudos ? :-)

Hey xtrm3d, thanks so much for the kind comments. I had kinda given up hope anyone was going to say anything. I was contemplating sticking a ZBrush doc background on it and posting in on ZB central just to get some feedback ;P

So much going on with that creature! I guess it evolved to have all options covered? There’s enough variety in the detailing to keep you interested for quite a while methinks. I hope you can paint it and post in the finished gallery.
