Hello! Recently I have been trying out Ptex and came across with a problem. I painted on the mesh in Mudbox, then I exported the color layer in Ptex file and rendered it in Houdini . That worked OK and the render looked good.
But when I tryed to convert my existing tiff texture to Ptex to use it as base layer for more detailed paint I got a problem.
After transfering Tiff to Ptex the Ptex-mesh in Mudbox viewport looked very good with nice color and details . (image1)
Then I exported the color layer into the Ptex file. However, when rendered my model with that Ptex as a color texture, it didn`t look good. Only blured color dots on the mesh and no details.

i have tried to import that Ptex file into Mudbox as Paint layer for my original sculpt and result looks wrong too. It looks (in viewport) like render.(image3)

Can someboby explain , what i doing wrong?
