Does Mudbox Subdivide generate same vertex IDs as Maya Smooth?

Should I expect Mudbox to subdivide a mesh in the same manner as Maya’s smooth? I’ve noticed on some models that vertex IDs are screwed up. Don’t they both use CC for smoothing and therefore should be able to blend shape ?

Not likely. I use softimage so i cant say for certain.
