anything that can be shared with us? :)

Hi there,
I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask about this but lately, and after seeing the latest ZB releases, I start feeling quite limited into the MB environment especially when it comes to mesh creation/editing.
I am not a ZB and I daily use MB at work which I love (though quite a few things could be improved) but my point here is that I’d like to think of MB also more like a conceptual kinda of software without having to do back and for with other 3d apps.

thanks :)

They are unlikely to say anything about new features just yet, but I agree with you. More concept tools like zbrush are badly needed. The developers are targeting Mud as a finishing tool to fit into Film production pipelines. There has been little thought to game production pipelines. We don’t need millions of textures, we need to make models fast. But I have moaned about this before…

There seems to be a plan for mudbox as to where it sits in a pipeline so dont hold your breath, but yes it would be nice. At least when new features are implemented in mudbox they are well thought out and increasingly synergistic with other AD apps.

You can do concept models already in mudbox, just start from a cube or just throw a simple basemesh to start.
