Problems during export to maya

Hi, when i try to export my model from mudbox 2012 to maya 2012, it says “problem were encounterd during FBX export”.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Try updating the Fbx plugin. I haven’t had this error since MB 2012 Sp2.



Primary System: DELL T7500, Windows 7 Pro, Dual Six Core Xeon 2.8GHZ ,256GB SSD Primary HDD, 2TB for Caches,Blu-ray writer, Quadro 5000 2.5gb Graphics & 32 GB DDR 3 1333 MHZ Ram. Secondary System: Dell T5400 Dual Quad Core Xeon 2.66GHZ, Quadro 4600, 8GB ram.
Mudbox Max limit touched on single mesh of an African Elephant 272 Million.

Thanks by your answer but sorry about the ignorance, but where i can find this pluging for mudbox? i only found it for maya and 3ds, the problem is with mudbox. Thanks in advance

Mudbox has fbx built in. Update the Maya one.

Hi thanks for your help bot it doesnt work, mudbox doesnt want to export the file, and it doesnt want to open any fbx. files, i just found out of this.
Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.
