After reading the flame wars in other forums, started by Oddity, and because i really like this forum, i made this thread.

You are only feeding the troll by making this thread. Keep in mind that trolls like this often have no real life or a real job. So have some sympathy for them.:rolleyes:

honestly his comments are ok with me. i hope everyone here are adults and sometimes your gonna have to deal with anal people, thats life and besides the fact his comments make me laugh ( reminds me of geeks arguing over batman versus spider-man).

i read some of his post, IMHO they aren’t bad. I’m going to need that honest C&C later this year on my demo reel also.

i wanted to stay out of this thread, but i think this is not the way to solve conflicts. really.
i dont want odditty gone. when i read ur first post(in which u decided to be a hard ass) i thought, here is a stand up guy who is gonna say things as they should, which to me is not weather this muscle is too big and that is too small. this is useless crit for the modelers of this forum. they already know what is to be done to their model and for sure they dont listen to crits. what an artist needs at this point is for someone to say frankly: look, this is not as good as ur last work or this is a lot better. understand that besides making a model look right there is also the notion of its power, its spirit and u seem to always attack what is closer at hand and easier to comment, the physical side of the model.

maybe u want to be treated as an elite and despise others that are. u become elite when the ppl say so, and not when u want to, and usually it will happen when u impress them through the soul of your works not how well the muscles are put together. 

from now on try to be a bit more mature please, you’ve done yourself and your work a lot of harm.

I`m actually quite amused by some of these threads and have good fun reading them. Nah, seriously, even if some comments come over harsh, I`m always interested to hear different opinions.
There are some very valid points in his posts and for me it`s really just a matter of how you say things.

Sometimes being a great artist is not enough so expressing your thoughts in a decent way and brushing up those people skills is always a good thing to do.
It`s all about teamplay in this industry, no one makes a movie/game all alone.

Well for me, its not about what your saying, its about how you say it in this case.
