Hi,
This is the problem: When I load a model (Maya2012/ comprises several objects), Mudbox 2012 tells me in red that Failed to load texture files:.... The texture file works, but a strange blue color wanders over all the objects of my model and finally stays on some objects. It’s not the objects from the error message, and it’s not the Freeze-blue. (See attachment)
Any idea?
Thks,
Krrrrrrk!

looks like some of your UVs are not in the 0-1 space…
mud is able to read those uvs and is trying to load a texture for it…
the shortcut “up arrow key” will load/unload that texture if there is one…
more info in the help…

So when i try to use my tablet pen in mudbox, the tools dont work. I can make it work like a mouse except it the tools dont do anything for me.
-The tablet is in pen mode.
-i dont know if there is a way to set mudbox itself to pen mode. apparently this info is not common knowledge.
-Mudbox complains when i open it for new drivers
-all my drivers are up to date (video, tablet etc)
What am i supposed to do or not doing or doing wrong? My mouse works fine but i dont want my mouse i want my tablet to work. Could this also be because i have a student version? Ive tried updating to SP1, but i go through the entire installer only to have to not be able to do anything.
