What's wrong with the smooth tool?

The smooth tool doesn’t have enough power, to smooth a level 8 cube properly. Even at 100 %. Please give more love to this tool. I’m with a core i7 with 16 gb and gtx 580 3gb.

you have to step down to smooth in such high levels…
or use a combination of the flatten and the smooth brush…

if this is a issue for you report it to autodesk via the mudbox help menue…
help --> report a problem
