Mudbox 2009 QuickStart Series - Ultra Fast Depth of Field Setup

This video in the QuickStart series shows how to set up a perfect Depth of field ultra fast.  If your having problems tuning your DOF without taking a while, then this video is for you.  A big Thanks to Dave Cardwell for allowing me to pass on this particuar tip.

Yes I felt it may save people a bit of time setting DOF up.  After all time is money these days.  Maybe I’ll cover the node based workflow one of these days. ;)

Great tip Wayne, setting the DOF filter fine enough without typing in numbers was a real drag, being able to respan the slider by double clicking is a great frustration saver. Like many other people around here (it probably hasnt been said enough) but I really appreciating your (and Daves) videos and responses to queries, and also the contributions from other forum regulars

You mention node based workflow, are you talking about those miniscule butons on the end of the materials swatches? They seem to be able to be linked, but if you could shed some light on practical uses for them, I for one would be greatly enlightened
