I exported a default cube from Mudbox and then imported it into Maya. I found that if I scaled a default poly cube in Maya to 1500 that it matched the default cube that was imported from MB.

So if anyone is confused about the scale in Maya just scale a poly cube to 1500 and that will give you a idea of the scale once the model is in Mudbox.  (That is if you want to stay in the default ranges of Mudbox.)

Good idea!

Modo objects needs to be scaled 15’000% to match Mudbox size.

You can set the Mudbox units in the prefs. Default is cm, just like in Maya.
This makes the mudbox default cube 1.5m.
Mudbox won`t scale the object but it`s always good to work in a certain size
as you avoid roundingErrors at extraction time.

They should have simply mentioned in the help documentation that the grid divisions in MB equal 100 units set in the preferences. Is there any way to change that?
