OK, this is not a but it almost feels like one…

Basically, if you have a mesh with a hole in it (just delete a quad from a sphere) and you paint on the surface of the object, if your stroke comes across the hole, MB will paint on the other side of the object.

I find it quite annoying in most cases. Maybe have that as an option?

(yeah, I know I can freeze the other side but can’t see myself doing it each time, too lazy for that :) )

hi bolek.

in the preferences under “backface” there is an option for sculpting both sides.
if you uncheck that option it will work like you want, if i understood you right.

Yaaaaayyyy!!! I knew I saw something like that one… Been looking for it and must have overlooked it 20 times in a row. Idiot me....
