image planes zoom/ pan "able"

worked with image planes for the first time for a bit last night and would really like to be able to place an image plane then lock it’s position in worldspace - so after the initial “line up” is done you can pan and zoom in that camera’s view (no rotation obviously) and have the image pan and zoom with the model.

This would also be a great option with stencils. Unless there’s already a way to do both that I haven’t stumbled on yet…

Wanted to bump this one up as it’s been quite frustrating and I’m really curious about the expected image plane functionality. Should IP’s behave the way they do in Maya ? Started wondering if it’s an issue with my quadro4 card not behaving properly ? Is there a setting/ control I missed to get this functionality - unlock the planes from the camera ?

If it’s not a problem on my end, are there plans to add this functionality ?
