Erm, Dave is there a chance to be more explicit about talking to a salesperson about a linux version of Mudbox please?

Most of the ‘killer’ apps and plugins are windows only at present, I’m based in a large Film VFX house which is Linux- Maya centric. For artists to be able to use software such as dRaster NEX, mudobx, zbrush, modo we have to consider budget and get a second box for windows, (or dual boot), either way its more money, and not all modellers will get one.

I can honestly say if Modo, zbrush or mudbox came out on Linux, (and was stable) there would be a huge preference to using that software over another one, especially as a lot of our work is simply sculpting geometry which all of these apps do well.  I personally love mudbox as we have a renderman pipeline, and that, along with NEX are top of my Linux-app wishlist.

Hi,
I have the same problem as phase - bought Mbx, contacted my reseller, even got an Mbx beta code, but nobody wrote to me, to give me the link to the linux version. What now? Andrew has not replied to me since ca. a week.

Linux version is out, but the pressure doesn’t work with Wacom Bamboo tablets. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
