right: im no pro, and i probobly have no say, but i thought i should put this out there for those who didnt want to say anythin.
could you please put in some modeling tools? extrude, those sorts of things? mudbox is expensive. so are every other program to make profesional 3d animations. so maybe in a next version some new modeling tools instead of just detailing.  im sorry if this is a retarded thread, but i hate having to move back and forth between programs. and if there are modeling tools such as in maya, i would gladly take a ruler to the knuckels from my best buds at autodesk.

Its not a bad deal when you compute that one job done with the software more than pays for it. There is an upfront cost but if you do any professional work with it you have made money for sure.

For students there was a lower price or free PLE option.

modeling tools would be cool, but I think there are other features that would make more sense to add on before modeling tools are created like topo tools(kinda modeling) and transpose tools.  Maybe we will see this in the next version.  But keep in mind that performance is key in my mind so any extra features would have to not impede performance at all.

If you need a cheap modeling solution check out silo its only like 100 bucks!  a great companion for MB if you dont have the money for Max or Maya.
