Sorry, but I just had to put in a complaint about this thread merge.

You just wasted the free time I put in giving you feedback, and the community something to talk about.

Anyone else reading this thread, I am not a gibbering idiot- each post was in regards to the title of the posts- which you cannot now see.

Yes, I know the suggested workflow for cavity painting. I have read the tute files thoroughly.

It is not ideal as you have to switch view modes, take a shot, load it, use it as a mask etc etc

Or, in zbrush, you hit a button, and you can do it in realtime whilst turning your object around.

I am suggesting that that is a better workflow.

You mean in vertex color paint mode with no layers, spec or bump maps correct? So thats not `done` really.

But we fully understand cavity painting is important. Lets see what Santa can do this year.

What was that about cavity paint? something we’ll see added soon? That would be extremely helpful and I could chuck that other software out completely.
