Hi,

I would love to become a Mudbox user, but I think it misses a function I grew really fond of in another sculpting tools.

When applying skin texture to a high-res sculpt I’d like to freeze the diffuse infromation and sculpt the skin pores using the same frozen texture.

Hopefully this is written clear enough.

cheers

no not in this way… you have to do this with a stencil…
or go to maps --> sculpt model using displacement… and mask the areas you dont need…

save/load freezing to/from a texture would be a great feature…

...

please report it to autodesk…
in the mudbox help menue --> suggest a feature…

same for bugs… --> report a problem
you will get a bug number and the devs will take a look....

if a bug/feature gets more reports he will climb up in the priority list…
so report all you see...!
