It would be extremely useful to have the ability to make a smooth, even stroke with an stamp so that we can do things like make a hair brush.

A visual example of what I’d like:

The lower stroke is the current behavior of mudbox (using the Soft brush with the stamp shown in the bottom right corner) which creates uneven spots along the stroke, regardless of having “Prevent Overlap” (with any radius), “Orient To Stroke,” or any other setting I can find/change.  The upper stroke (which I made by drawing four strokes with the normal Soft brush without a stamp as an example) is what I’d like to be able to do in one stroke with the Soft brush and a stamp.

The closest I can get to the effect I want is by creating a curve and using “Stroke on Curve” with a high number of stamps.  This isn’t a feasible workaround because besides the fact that I don’t like using curves, mudbox very frequently gives me an error message whenever I try to use “Stroke on Curve.”

Thanks

That looks like what I was asking for.  I can’t wait to try it
