I doubt this is currently possible in 1.07, but there are times when having symmetry for the translate/move tool would be useful. Like if i need to move the left and right eye closer together, there isn’t anyway to do this in Mudbox AFAIK.

Moving in symmetry with the move tool is possible. You can use all the available symmetry options any other brush has.
Translating in symmetry is indeed not possible in this release. Since you’re working on object level, and the whole object level editing in Mudbox is kind of foobar if you ask me.

TO move eyes closer together I set the move tools brush size to something ridiculously big like 10000 or something and then just move them. It’ll do what you want.
